Sales Engineer KUBO

For a new high-tech Greenhouse company in Europe, we are looking for a General Manager Greenhouse Europe at KUBO, who will take charge of the start-up of the Greenhouse on location at the customer in Europe for one year. As General Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations in both the greenhouse and the packaging hall. The cultivation control and technical maintenance are fully provided by KUBO. This allows you as General Manager Greenhouse to focus on managing the operation, building a strong team, and creating a culture in which professionalism, ownership and cooperation are central.

As General Manager Greenhouse in our modern, automated tomato greenhouse, you will manage the entire operational process on a daily basis. You ensure that everything runs smoothly - from cultivation to the packaging hall. Together with a team of (local) employees, you will build a professional working environment in which quality, efficiency and job satisfaction are central.

You are responsible for:

• Managing the daily operation in the greenhouse and packaging hall;
• Coordinating the packaging process and ensuring smooth logistics;
• Building a positive, results-oriented work culture;
• Training, guiding and motivating (local) employees;
• Optimizing processes and ensuring quality, safety and efficiency;
• Intensive collaboration with colleagues from KUBO and local partners to jointly realize a successful operation and cultivation.

You are an experienced leader who knows how things work in a production environment such as greenhouse horticulture. You like to get things done, know how to motivate people and remain calm under pressure. Thanks to your practical attitude and coaching approach, you know how to make a difference together with the team, every day again.

You bring with you:

• Extensive experience in greenhouse horticulture or a similar operational environment;
• Demonstrable leadership experience in a management position;
• A natural team spirit and coaching leadership style;
• Flexibility, stress resistance and the ability to switch quickly;
• The insight to set priorities and build a performance-oriented culture that also focuses on people;
• The willingness to work abroad (within Europe) for a year.
