Product Lead

At SDF Horti Software we are looking for a decisive and strategic Product Lead with a passion for software development, digitalization and leadership. You have the ability to translate business needs into concrete product strategies, always focusing on customer needs. 

You are a true bridge builder and know how to translate between the management team and the operational team. You have the ability to influence and motivate teams, and ensure that everyone works towards the common goals. In doing so, you not only maintain the long-term vision, but you also show decisiveness and initiative to implement changes where necessary. You combine organizational skills with a sharp strategic view and know how to take product development to a higher level. 

You manage a team of approximately 15 employees, work closely with development teams and stakeholders, communicate clearly and ensure successful implementation of the product strategy. Experience in the horticultural sector is a plus, but not a requirement. We are looking for someone who sets priorities and realizes valuable solutions.

As Product Lead, you play a central role in the development of our software. You monitor the long-term vision and translate customer needs and market developments into a clear product strategy. You ensure that this becomes reality by setting clear priorities and involving the team in this.

With your decisiveness and initiative, you steer towards continuous improvement and innovate where necessary. You have the influencing ability to convince stakeholders and create support for strategic decisions. In addition, you monitor the goals, monitor progress and guarantee the quality of our software solutions.

• Developing and communicating the product vision and roadmap;
• Managing and prioritizing the backlog and user stories;
• Leading the development teams to realize the right functionalities;
• Analyzing customer needs and market trends;
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to substantiate strategic decisions.

You have an analytical and results-oriented mindset and know how to bring business and technology together. You can think strategically, but also switch practically to make projects run successfully.

• A HBO or WO diploma in a relevant field;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Lead or similar;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management and user stories;
• Strong communication, analytical and influencing skills;
• The ability to think and act in a change-oriented way;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English;
• Affinity with the horticultural sector is a plus;
• ERP software and business processes in horticulture;
• Tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar systems;
• UX/UI principles and data analysis.
