Sales Engineer

At HAWE Cultivation Systems we are looking to strengthen our team with a Sales Engineer. In this role you are responsible for the entire preparatory process of our innovative mobile cultivation systems. From plan to design and from quotation proposal to technical elaboration: you ensure that everything is in place before the sales department gets to work! 

The team:

You will join a small but close-knit team of: 

• 2 Sales Engineers (including you);
• 2 Salespeople who are responsible for the deals;
• 1 Customer Support employee who manages customer relations. 

Together you will create the best technical and commercial solutions!

As a Sales Engineer, you are the link between customer questions and the best technical solutions. You work closely with the sales team and ensure that all technical preparations are arranged down to the last detail. This means that you:

• Draw up quotation proposals and calculations, so that the sales department is perfectly prepared;

• Make technical designs in AutoCAD and set up system configurations;

• Perform capacity calculations and cost analyses for a detailed project plan;

• Write functional designs in which all specifications and requirements are clearly described;

• Coordinate external partners and suppliers, to ensure smooth integration of systems;

• Manage the technical library together with the engineering team, so that documentation remains up-to-date.

• A technical education or comparable work experience;
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D (knowledge of Inventor 3D is a plus!); 
• Affinity with the horticultural sector and interest in innovative cultivation systems;
• Analytical thinking and accuracy in your work;
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
