Cultivation Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative greenhouse projects across North America and beyond while helping clients maximize crop performance, resource efficiency, and profitability.

As a Cultivation Specialist, you will join our Smart Growing team and provide support and advice to internal and external client relationships based on agronomic knowledge and experience.

Your responsibilities include:

Analysis & Consultancy

• Investigating, analyzing, and advising on plant physiology, greenhouse climate strategies, and crop performance within various climate zones;
• Assessing climate conditions and greenhouse performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and prevent potential issues;
• Developing cultivation scenarios and clearly explaining their implications to clients;
• Advising customers on greenhouse systems, crops, cultivation processes, and the efficient use of energy and resources;
• Contributing to the development and improvement of photosynthesis and cultivation models.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Delivering training programs tailored to the client's development stage, from start-up to optimization;
• Developing training materials and educational content for international customers and project teams;
• Supporting knowledge transfer and best-practice implementation across projects.

Remote Support & On-Site Coaching

• Providing remote cultivation support and consultancy to clients around the world;
• Monitoring climatic conditions and crop performance remotely and advising growers accordingly;
• Delivering on-site coaching and practical guidance on the use of KUBO’s Ultra-Clima greenhouses and Smart Growing solutions;
• Supporting growers in achieving their production, quality, and sustainability objectives.

We are looking for a driven professional who combines scientific expertise with strong communication skills and a passion for innovation in greenhouse horticulture.

You have:

• • A university degree in Plant Sciences, Greenhouse Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field;
  • Academic-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • A strong interest in high-tech greenhouse horticulture, innovation, food safety, and sustainability;
  • Experience with greenhouse systems and technologies such as climate, cooling, and heating systems (considered an advantage);
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly;
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • The ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment;
  • Willingness to travel.
